Privacy Policy

Stayline is published by Setout Labs LLC. This policy explains how the app handles your information. There is no account and no sign-in. Trip records, dates and calculations are stored and processed on your device. We do not send them to our analytics or diagnostics providers.

1. Data the app collects

Stayline uses Mixpanel to collect a device identifier and product-interaction events for analytics. On iOS, Apple Ads attribution is requested from Apple; campaign, ad group, keyword and attribution status may be sent to Mixpanel for analytics. Sentry collects crash data, other diagnostic data and performance data to identify and fix technical problems. The collected data is not linked to your identity and is not used for tracking. The app does not show ads.

2. What the app reads on your device

Stayline does not read your location, your photo library, your contacts, your calendar or your mailbox, and it does not ask for permission to. You type your trip dates in yourself. Those dates and your app settings are stored on your device. The app does not transmit them to us or its analytics and diagnostics providers. We receive them only if you choose to include them in a support email.

3. Calculations run on your device

Counting, saved trips, simulation and cached access work offline; product lookup and purchase are App Store operations.

4. Support

Support email is received at support@setout.ai. We use your message and any attachments only to answer you. We keep them only as long as needed to answer. We use them for nothing else. To ask us to delete them, reply to the email thread.

5. Purchases

Stayline Pro is sold as a subscription or as a one-time purchase. Either way the transaction is handled by Apple through the App Store, under Apple's terms and privacy policy. We receive no payment details, and Apple does not give us your name, email address or billing address.

6. Children

Stayline is a general-audience travel utility and is not directed to children under 13. The app's analytics and diagnostic data is not linked to anyone's identity, including children. If someone chooses to email support, we handle any personal information in the message as described above.

7. Your rights

Analytics and diagnostic data is not linked to your identity. To ask about data held by Mixpanel or Sentry, contact us below. Support email is different. To ask us to access, correct or delete a support message or attachment, reply to the email thread. Your trips live on your device and are deleted with the app. The free-trial start date is kept in the device Keychain so the trial does not reset when you reinstall the app. It is a single date and identifies nobody. It is not synced to iCloud Keychain, but it can be carried in an Apple device backup. Other app data may also be included in a device backup. Apple governs those backups.

8. Security

The app does not transmit your trips or settings to us or its analytics and diagnostics providers. We receive them only if you choose to include them in a support email. Trips and settings stay on your device, though copies may be included in device backups governed by Apple. Keep it locked and up to date.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the effective date above and publish the revised version on this page. Material changes will also be described in the app's release notes.

10. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
